Captain

Captain Kenny Way has been fishing the waters of Pensacola Bay, Santa Rosa Sound, and the Gulf of Mexico since he was a kid. In his younger years he spent most of his time fishing from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Fishing Pier where he learned how to perfect his fishing addiction.

His favorite target was the spring migration of cobia during the March and April each and every year. He won several pier cobia tournaments and started to realize fishing was his dream and a way of life. Pier fishing wasn’t the only place he shined as he started to make a name in the local fishing industry.

He and his friends started competing in local inshore tournaments as well and the won the Outcast Inshore Slam when he was seventeen years old against forty other boats. They also placed several years in the Pensacola Bud Light Fishing Rodeo.

He started his career in the fishing industry when he was just 17 at a local tackle store and soon realized that he wanted to fish for a living. He worked with a local captain and got started on the road to getting a captains license.

He began running Pensacola Fishing charters in 2012 and hasn’t looked back. Fishing whenever possible and trying as hard as he could to make sure his customers and their families enjoyed their time on the water. Whether inshore for trout and redfish or offshore for red snapper he will make sure your fishing adventure is one of a lifetime.

Boat

Captain Kenny fishes out of a 27′ Ameracat that is fast and will get you to the fishing hole in a hurry while also providing a comfortable ride. The boat is loaded with state of the art electronics and also has a trolling motor that holds the boat on the spot allowing you to maximize fishing time. The boat will also be loaded with all of the rods and reels and equipment for the species you will be targeting on that given day. Fishing on the northern Gulf Coast requires a plethora of different size rods and reels.
